How to use Firebug, by it’s creator

Filed under: Design and Web — pwrighta @ 8:43 pm

Ajaxian posted a great link today to a video showing Joe Hewitt demo’ing FireBug. Joe created FireBug, so he knows his way around this awesome Firefox add-in.

I’m not going to re-embed the video here. Wander over to Ajaxian and check it out. If you’re a web developer you’re missing out if you don’t.

In addition though, Joe has also written a great article for DDJ on debugging AJAX with Firebug.

  2. Can Firebug be used to track HTTP GETs including the request header and the responses from the server including the response header. Will it show all the HTTP GEts done when an HTML page is being loaded and the page references resources that require HTTP GETs?

    Thanks,
    Norm
