Michael and the TechCrunch amateur journalists love to leap all over technical problems. When Twitter goes down they post relentlessly on the issue blaming everything from poor management to shoddy tech skills. When on demand systems like those offered by Google or Amazon experience a glitch, Arrington and cronies love to revel in the drama of the whole thing. Could Google be heading for TechCrunch’s famous ‘deadpool’? Dunno, but it would certainly be a hit grabbing headline.

We in the business call that ‘having issues’.
Poor poor TechCrunch. Oh no, wait, I have to do it in the TechCrunch stylee.
“After much speculation about the future of sensationalist blogging masquerading as journalism, TechCrunch today suffered a serious outage. A leading industry insider didn’t tell us “Well, this could be a symptom of poor management, but more likely they just don’t know what they’re doing”. “
Nice! Made my day.
